SITUATION UPDATE FOR OUR FRIENDS & FANS

Now that the New Year has arrived, and a few months have passed since the announcement of the upcoming closing of our Lunenburg theater in September 2023, people have asked about Drawbridge's future status. We'd like to take this moment to update and clarify the current situation. From now until the end of August we'll be continuing with our public shows every weekend at 11:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. This will be capped with a 'Thank You Celebration' on the first Saturday in September. Following this we'll be vacating our current location.

However, the story of Drawbridge Theater won't end there. Indeed, how could it? We fully intend to continue offering traveling shows, birthday parties, and public shows - as well as continuing our expansion into the realm of video. In order to do this, we'll be pursuing alternate locations in which to perform. (More on this in the weeks ahead.) If this search proves successful, we'll be up and running again in the fall, hopefully without a pause. Drawbridge Theater isn't ending, it's evolving. So rest assured, whether in this area (if manageable) or elsewhere, the puppets of Drawbridge Theater will be continuing to entertain children and their families for many years to come. After all, you can't keep a good puppet down.
