Drawbridge Puppet Theater
Drawbridge Productions also offers educational workshops and complete courses to any groups interested in learning more about the art of puppetry.  Simple workshops consist of a one hour period of time and the children create 'stick puppets' using materials such as paper plates, construction paper and lots of craft materials. The puppeteers encourage imagination in the children's projects and allow them to express their own ideas.  The workshops conclude with the children displaying their work and they are encouraged to bring their puppet to life by giving the puppet a name and a voice.

Puppet courses are offered to schools, and organizations that allow for a period of four, eight or even twelve week periods of time.  The Drawbridge Production Puppet Courses are specifically planned for the age group of the people involved and generally consist of planning and writing the script for the show, designing and building the puppet characters, (hand, shadow and marionette puppets) painting scenery and prop building.  The course ends with the students presenting their show to their peers and parents.

& Productions
Drawbridge Productions continues to provide area families, schools, day cares, & libraries with quality entertainment using shadow and hand puppets as well as marionettes.  The Drawbridge Puppet Theater presents a brand new permanent theater at 1335 Massachusetts Ave. (Rte 2A) in Lunenburg, MA.  Public performances are held every Saturday and Sunday.  Weekday shows are added during the summer and school vacation weeks..We also provide traveling puppet and marionette shows for any occasion.  Each traveling performance concludes with an 'Art of Puppetry' demonstration.
Caricatures and cartoon graphics are also available from the Drawbridge artist studio.

The puppeteers have also built puppets, sets, props, scene painting for several schools and businesses. We can design complete performances including script writing, and original music or jingles for your company as well.
The Drawbridge Puppet Hospital takes in all injured puppets and marionettes for complete restoration; painting, wigging, costuming, stringing, control sticks etc. Don't bury your injured puppets away in a box for good.  Call the Drawbridge Puppet hospital to make your puppets well again.
