The Drawbridge Puppet and Marionette Theater is a favorite spot for any field trip.
A trip to The Drawbridge Theater will inspire and enlighten the imagination in all.
Our totally original and unique shows are geared for all ages and always conclude with an educational 'Art of Puppetry' demonstration and tour of the backstage.
The theater is handicapped accessible. Concession and gift shop, restroom facilities, Freezer and microwave available for use. There is also a lovely garden here and you are welcome to stroll the paths and enjoy the natural beauty of our country garden. (Ask us about our spring and summer 'Garden' workshops too!)
We are available for reserving your special group field trip at any time.
The 'Castle' interior makes a great spot for any function. School buses may park and unload at front door. There is plenty of free parking. (For buses too!)
Here is what we provide...
* One Hour puppet or marionette production (Your Choice of Show)
*Personalized introduction
*'The Art of Puppetry' demonstration
*Tour of the backstage and upon request, a puppet making workshop
Total time for Production and tour - 1 hour
Total time for requested workshop - 1.5 hours
Maximum seating for each performance is 50 people
Cost of a Drawbridge Field trip - $ 300.00
We require a non-refundable 25% deposit to confirm the date and time of your scheduled performance. A confirmation letter is sent upon receipt of deposit.
We also offer our educational 'hands-on' Puppet Making Workshop where the puppeteers instruct the group on how to create their own puppets. Workshop takes place after the puppet show, and requires another hour and 1/2 of time.
All materials are supplied.
Puppet Workshop ~ $50. Instructor and $ 3.00 per child.
