If you've ever been interested in working in the entertainment industry, have relative experience or want experience as a professional puppeteer - (Full Training provided) and seek part-time only. (Weekends are essential, and occasional week-nights) We are seeking puppeteers, designers/ artists. If you are involved or interested in theater-arts, you might be just what we're looking for. Drawbridge Puppet Theater internships are unpaid positions. High school and college credit can be arranged. Interns who express continued interest and desire to remain with Drawbridge Puppets will be considered for eventual paid employment. Most importantly, Drawbridge Puppet Theater internships are extremely flexible, providing students with an opportunity to work on all aspects of a growing, exciting and FUN organization. Unlike internships that often involve mundane filing and answering telephones, than the actual hands-on creative experience, the Drawbridge Theater allows students, through consultation with the Director, to design a personalized internship program that best meets their academic, social and professional aims. Office Assistant - Receptionist - Retail Sales
Artistic People
If you enjoy working on a computer (typing skills +) Have some experience or interest in retail sales (We train) and can answer a telephone, we are looking for a part-time office assistant/receptionist. Will also assist in our ticket booth and gift shop. If you enjoy interacting with people and children, you'll enjoy this program. Theater Greeter - Volunteer
Do you enjoy sewing? Are you an 'Artsy-Craftsy' person? We need you in our 'Puppet workshop' helping to create new puppets, marionettes etc. No experience necessary in puppet making but a desire to learn is all we need. If you enjoy people, and wouldn't mind wearing a wizard costume...complete with white beard, wig and pointed hat, join us during our puppet productions by meeting and greeting our guests, assist with parking directions, help with patron questions, and of course entertain children.
